A quiet and unassuming man, often seen at a 9am Burn or Noon CF, he comes in participates in the class in a work-person-like attitude. He does a good job encouraging others and getting his stuff done. His transformation has been great to watch. He has dedicated himself to improving little bits every day.

Tim Ferris's 11 questions:

  • What is the book (or books) you’ve given most as a gift, and why? Or what are one to three books that have greatly influenced your life?
    • Depends on the person but I have given the Tim Ferriss’s book the “4 hour work week”. The why? It gave me really good ideas about business and time management.

  • What purchase of $100 or less has most positively impacted your life in the last six months (or in recent memory)?
    • I really don't spend that much money on myself. I cannot remember the last time I spent $100.

  • How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success? Do you have a “favorite failure” of yours?
    • I have had so many failures that i should have a PHD in “fuck ups”.  Top of the list is Going into business with friends (running a Bar) 17 years ago was one of the biggest failure to date. learned the importance of due diligence and accurate bookkeeping. At the time my life totally sucked but with time I realized, that experience has given me knowledge that I used in other endeavors.

  • If you could have a gigantic billboard anywhere with anything on it—metaphorically speaking, getting a message out to millions or billions—what would it say and why?
    • STOP READING STUPID BILLBOARDS! KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD! People look to the most easiest way to get answers nobody is asking for.

  • What is one of the best or most worthwhile investments you’ve ever made? (Could be an investment of money, time, energy, etc.)
    • Investing in my health ie Crossfit CE and eating healthy. I may never be an elite athlete. But I'm much better than when I started and I feel great!

  • What are bad recommendations you hear in your profession or area of expertise?
    • When I hear new homebuyers talk about what they learned on  HGTV I cringe. Especially when they think a rehab will take a couple of weeks and come in at budget.

These question made me use my brain more than usual. What I really want everybody to know is that I am really appreciative to all the coaches at CrossFit CE. The patience, love, and knowledge you all have has given me the push I needed. And big thanks to all the other CFCE members! It's been a pleasure talking with most of you and can't wait to meet the rest. Thanks for making this a community of encouragement. I wish everyone a healthier life! "
